Byron’s dad grew up in the area surrounding Sydney, which meant that he had plenty of memories and places to visit that you wouldn’t find on a tourist brochure. Today we went on his “Best Kept Secrets” tour to the Napean River, the Hawesbury River, and some of first settled towns in Australia. We stopped in the town of Windsor and walked through their Sunday Market and had lunch at the Maquerie Arms Hotel, which is Australia’s oldest pub, according to their sign (I’m a tad skeptical).
